Help us Cast More Anchors
Substance Use Disorder has been steadily increasing in the United States since 1999 and is the #1 cause of death. 85% of the prison population has an active substance use disorder or were incarcerated for a crime involving drugs or drug use. Inmates with opioid use disorder are at a higher risk for overdose following release from incarceration. The James Pinka Foundation is committed to helping individuals dealing with addiction find pathways to wellness. Our most recent CrossFit initiative is currently supporting inmates in the Sheriff's Addiction Treatment Program at Yaphank Correctional Facility as well as the recovery community of New Hope Rising Sober Living and The Hope House. Our mission is to provide healthy alternatives to destructive behavior with the goal of balancing mind, body and spirit. Your generous donation will help us provide scholarships to local gyms for anyone currently in sober living
as well as helping us purchase equipment to support our 1017 Fitness Program.
The James Pinka Foundation recognizes its donors and are grateful for all you have done to help us grow.
